Appointment Reschedule/Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows and cancellations inconvenience not only Dr. Burkhart, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our NEW policy regarding appointment reschedules and/or cancellations.

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please call or email Jenn as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation or reschedule is necessary, we require that you call at least one office day (Tuesdays/Thursdays) in advance. (If your appointment falls on a Tuesday, please let us know by 9 am the Thursday prior. If your appointment falls on a Thursday, please let us know by 9 am the Tuesday prior.) Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call us at 707-927-5622 between the hours of 7:00 am-2:00 pm, or email [email protected]. An email or phone notification is all that is required to cancel. We will return your call or email as soon as possible.

Late Cancellations/Reschedules/No-Shows

A cancellation or reschedule is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than the aforementioned time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, you will be responsible for a $150 appointment fee.
