New Research: The risk of SIBO in inflammatory bowel disease is 9x higher than in the general population.  If you have had strictures or abdominal surgery your risk may be even higher.  SIBO is a maneageable, treatable condition that frequently goes undiagnosed. It can create symptoms such as bloating, fatigue, brain fog, digestive symptoms, joint pain, mood disorders and more.  If you suffer from Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis and are experiencing any of these symptoms,  you may want to consider being evaluated for SIBO. If you aren’t familiar with what SIBO is, take a peek at an article I wrote in the past to learn more and discuss the possibility with your health care provider. I hope this information will be helpful to you or someone you know and put them on the path to feeling better today!
